Community members joined Rotarians to pot flowers in the Rotary planters Tuesday. The bountiful planters are placed around the square as well as on east and west Main. The project started several years ago as part of a Rotary District 6040 matching grant, with 15 planters. This year there are 45 planters full of blooming flowers to beautify Unionville. All of the planters have been sponsored by businesses or as memorials to loved ones. Rotarians will water and fertilize the plants throughout the summer. Photo credit: Mary Comstock

Market on the Square

Jim Madison, owner of Goobers and Bullet Stop in Hartford, MO, brought a parade of Ford Pintos to the Market on the Square, along with yummy cinnamon rolls from his store. The Market so enjoyed having guests cruising the Square in vintage cars.
